I have two best friends. One is a girl, and one is a boy. I met
both online, and have yet to meet them in real life. One lives on the other
side of the United States, while the other lives only a few states above me. I’ve
been to both states; in fact I lived in one of them for a few years, and the
other I stayed in overnight. (It was a highlight) (Look I just rhymed). And one
thing I’ve noticed about my relationships with both of these people (and others)
is that, distance doesn’t matter.
My girl best friend is Costello. To be honest, without
giving away too much detail, Cossy is younger than me, but amazingly smart and
much more mature then I am. (a friend of mine, whom met Cossy for reasons,
thought she was older than me.) Before I created this blog, I didn’t know Cossy
that well. We were more like acquaintances, going through chat rooms as distant
friends. We shared a similar crush at one point, and Cossy is of course, one of
the only people to know about. In
fact only two people know, and that other person told on me. -_- Eventually, I
got the idea for this blog, and created it and Cossy jumped in. Since then our
relationship has gone from “hi I talk to you rarely” to “hi can we switch to
text?” We have gone through a lot together. A year is a long time.
I have a similar relationship with my other best friend, tsuro. Of course there are some differences. For example: tsuro is about 3
months older than me, still amazingly smart and much more mature than I am. Tsuro
and I also have a bit more in common than Cossy and I do. For one, tsuro has 3
siblings while Cossy has 1 (I have *cough* 5). Cossy has 1 dog while tsuro has
2 (I also have 2) and while I believe Cossy has 3 or 4 cats, tsuro has 6. (I have
none.) Tsuro and I have also gone through a lot. Like I said before, a year is
a long time.
Tsuro and Cossy are more of distant friends nowadays. They
used to be closer, but I can’t remember what happened, and now, I simply
mention the other to whoever I am talking to at the time. But they do have one
thing in common.
They both saved my life.
If you could have anything in the world, what would you
choose?
I, I already have everything I want in this world. Well sort
of. Still have yet to get the guy. But
mainly, I have the best friends in this world, and I have close friends as
well. I have people I can go to, mainly that leaves about 3 but whatever. I
have people. I have close friends, who know me really well.
And before you start taking the shy kid for granted. Maybe
you should actually talk to them. Because guess what. I’m the shy kid. And once
you get to know me, well…that’s another story.
